Dr. Goren maintains an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Northwestern University Medical School.

As such, he maintains staff privileges at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Children's Memorial Hospital.

He also has privileges at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines, Golf Surgical Center in Des Plaines, and 25 E. Surgery Center in Chicago. While Dr. Goren is the Chief of Ophthalmology at the Veterans Administration Chicago Healthcare System he does not see private patients at that location. He has at his disposal the resources of all the above facilities.
