Goren Eye Associates, SC is the private practice of Matthew B. Goren, MD,
FACS and Seymour B. Goren, MD-- academic ophthalmologists on the teaching faculty of Northwestern University's Feinberg School
of Medicine. Despite their teaching duties at Northwestern, medical students and residents are not involved in the care
of patients at their private practice locations.
The mission of this practice is to deliver the highest
quality ophthalmological medical and surgical care in a compassionate way, emphasizing each patient's individuality.
No
technicians are employed in this practice in order to maximize the quality of the physician-patient encounter. All history,
ocular examination, and testing is done by Dr. Goren personally.
A great deal of personal attention
is offered during a patient visit in order to ensure that patients are comfortable and well versed in their conditions and
treatment plans.
Dr. Goren believes that the best patient is one who is educated about his or her
medical situation and is an active partner in the selection and implementation of his or her treatment. Dr. Goren vows
that you will not leave an appointment with unanswered questions.
