General refractive eye care and contact lenses are also a focus of the practice. Dr. Goren has access to all of the facilities of Northwestern University Medical School and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Surgery for patients seen at the downtown location is generally performed at Northwestern's new facility.

Park Ridge
At the Park Ridge location, the vast majority of patients have problems specifically related to Cornea and External Eye Diseases. Dr. Goren maintains one of the busiest cornea transplant practices in Illinois, which is the focus of the suburban office. Dr. Goren uses a myriad of high-tech computer diagnostic instrumentation to offer the most state-of-the art treatment of a vast array of cornea problems. Most patients requiring surgery who are seen in the Park Ridge office use the Golf Surgical Center in Des Plaines - an affiliate of Lutheran General Hospital where Dr. Goren also maintains staff privileges. Dr. Goren is on the medical staff of Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines as well, and has access to all of their facilities.
